The Bearcats competed well against Argyle, who is ranked in the top 10 in 3A, but came up on the short end of the stick. The final was 8-0.

First District Game: @ Gainesville 03/22
Result: W/ 14-3 in six innings
The Bearcats started off district play with a victory in the form of a 14-3 run-rule. Garrett Hickman started on the bump for the Bearcats and allowed only one base runner in 2 1/3 innings of work until he had to be taken out of the game due to injury. The scoring for the Bearcats came in 5 of the 6 innings played with 2 runs in each of the 2nd, 4th, and 6th innings and 4 runs in each of the 3rd and 5th innings.

SPRING BREAK = SUCCESS!!!
The Bearcats had two games during spring break and came away with two wins. They won on Thursday against Commerce with a score of 5-3. Jake Brawner pitched 7 innings for his second complete game of the season to move his record up to 2-2. The Bearcats then turned around and won on Friday 15-8 against Bowie. The Bearcats had 16 hits and scored in each inning of the 7 inning contest.
